Worthy is the Lamb that was slain!

Easter Sunday:
I went to church Easter morning and while in worship I wondered about what heaven would be like on Easter. Then the Father broke into my thought process and asked, “Would you like to see?” I always forget that seeing heaven is always an open invitation! We can come and go anytime we please. It is one of the MANY benefits to being a child of God J.  God said that this is the loudest day in heaven every year, that EVERYONE gathers together to worship the Lamb. I saw oceans and oceans of people. There was no way I could count them, and Jesus was at the center. I wondered how the people in the back were able to see Jesus, but God let me know that heaven’s ways and earth’s ways are very different. On earth there are many limitations and restrictions. In heaven, even when you are in the back, you are still able to see and experience the fullness of Jesus just as if you were on the front row. Jesus was standing on a square platform. It wasn’t extremely high, but it was above the crowd. It was made of white marble with stairs on each side. On every corner of the platform there were golden bowls of burning incense. A heavenly being picked up one the bowl and place it at His feet. Jesus would receive the praise of incense and then the heavenly being would place it back in the corner. They did this with all four bowls.  They were incense of praise for the things that were overcome. The first was sin, then it was death, the third was Satan and last was the kingdom of darkness. Next I saw liquid gold falling down from the sky. It fell on him Him like rain and absorbed into His skin. This was poured out of golden bowls held by two mighty angels above him. They were really big, about 12 feet tall. The liquid gold was praises of the Life and Truth that came forth from Christ’s sacrifice and resurrection. Then there was a sweet and powerful wind. It was a deep red and it felt like silk, but it was not a cloth. This was praise that represented the blood that was poured out and the Love that was revealed by Christ’s sacrifice. This was very powerful, so powerful that all fell to their knees in worship! It was then that everyone remembered. I could feel and know everyone’s story of their lives and the Redemption that Jesus brought them, and how Christ brought FREEDOM. Joy came rushing like a flood and celebration filled the heavens. Then a huge choir flew down. There were thousands of angels and people singing together. They sang, “Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Christ is alive! Christ is King! Satan lost the Victory! Christ is King over all!!”  Could you imagine something like that happening every Easter in our churches? Oh how I long to be in eternity with my King!
